Tammy and Emmy Slayton are the stars of the popular American reality program “1,000 Pound Sisters,” which follows two dangerously obese sisters.
They are both presently 34 and 35 years old. They agreed to broadcast their everyday lives to millions of people till a few years ago in the hopes of becoming in shape and starting to live life to the fullest.
The sisters fought with their addictions and with themselves for three seasons. Amy, who is seeking to reduce weight and has sought surgery, was the most successful sister.
Amy and Tammy weighed 185 and 275 kg, respectively, at the time of the shoot (though Amy had previously shed about 50 kg). Unlike her sibling, she has gained weight and is now close to 300 pounds. Tammy was sent to an Ohio medical rehabilitation clinic that specialized in treating obese persons when her health rapidly deteriorated.
Her weight reduction as well as the pulmonary troubles produced by her obesity-related fatness are now being addressed at the clinic. Tammy is still enthralled by her life’s job. On her social media accounts, she often shares hilarious videos, health updates, and general assurances for her admirers.
Tammy met her future husband, Caleb Willingham, in the treatment facility. The encounter marked the beginning of her first relationship that was not based on internet dating. They had previously performed a wedding there where they first met before he proposed to her.
Many of their concerns may be discussed between them. They are now genuinely assisting one another. It’s great, according to the couple’s friends.
The bride’s closest relatives and friends were the only guests at the modest wedding. Amy, the bride’s sister, had shed a few pounds and was now married and the mother of a small kid.
